The gawky young man who made his debut with his home production was initially jeered for his unconventional looks and guts to launch himself as a hero. Two years down the lane, the very same people are singing his hosannas!

Today Vishal is the fastest rising star in Kollywood, after a hat-trick of hits Chellamay, Sanda Kozhi and now Thimiru, which completed 100 days in a dozen centres in Tamilnadu. Thimiru’s dubbed version Pogaru in Telugu is such a big hit, that Telugu Film Producers Association wants a ban on all future dubbed films!

The trade in Tamilnadu are backing him to the hilt, as his films are sold at a reasonable rate, and the guy has an opening to back it. They have found out that it is a better investment on their returns, buying his films. The distributors also see him as an alternative to the big V’s- Vijay and Vikram!

Now, Vishal is all geared up for the release of his Screenplay Entertainments Sivapathikaaram directed by Karu Palaniappan which may be a path breaking film for him. Remember that the film has been sold out all areas at record prices. And if the film does well, Vishal will be a superstar.

Le superstar Amitabh Bachchan de Bollywood et le vétéran acteur indien du sud Vikram vont partager l'écran dans un film tamoul de grand budget qui est produit par Manickam Narayanan et ABCL ( Maison de production de Amitabh Bachchan).

Manickam Naryanan est le producteur du Blockbuster Vettaiyadu Villaiyadu de Kamal Haasan.
Pourtant ce film est susceptible d'être bilingue avec une version en Hindi. Narayanan a censément tenu des discussions avec Amitabh et Vikram.

Le film sera un rêve qui devient vrai pour les deux qui tiennent le premier rôle.
A chaque visite à Chennai, Amitabh Bachchan a exprimé son désir de travailler sur l'écran tamoul, selon des sources d'industrie.

Il a fait à un bref aspect dans le Blockbster Amruthadhare en Kannada de l'année dernière, son premier film inde du sud.

Vikram, qui a obtenu son break il y a des années dans "Ullasam", qui a été financé par ABCL. Vikram est excité de jouer avec Amitabh, son idole à long terme.

Vikram a révéllé dans le rôle d'un jeune homme fâché dans plusieurs de ses films, un rôle popularisé par Amitabh en ses plus jeunes age.

Bien qu'Amitabh n'ait agi dans aucun film tamoul, il est un visage familier dans Tamil Nadu en raison de la version tamoulle de popular quiz show "Kaun Banega Crorepati".
