After missing out an opportunity to direct Suriya, director Vishnuvardhan has now managed to bag a plump offer to wield the megaphone for a movie starring Ajith.

It's now official that Vishnuvardhan would direct Ajith's film to be produced by Anadha L Suresh.

Having completed Aalwar, Ajith will do a movie for Suresh Balaji (Magudam). On completing the movie, Ajith's movie with Vishnuvardhan would commence.

The movie has not been titled yet. Search for a heroine is on. Meanwhile Vishnuvardhan is planning to complete his Sarvam before beginning his movie with Ajith.

Vishnu is elated at the opportunity to direct Ajith.

Well, this is the question that has been doing the rounds in kollywood these days.
It is well known that the Gemini Film Circuit which remade with great success Munnabhai MBBS in Tamil, has bought the remake rights for the sequel Lage Raho Munnabhai MBBS too.

The film on Gandhigiri is being made in Tamil and Telugu.

Chiranjeevi is likely to be the hero in the Telugu remake. But it is in Tamil that there is a speculation.

Saran, who directed Vasool Raja MBBS, though being its producer may not direct Lage Raho.

Kamal has also indicated that he may not act in the Tamil Lage Raho. Sources indicate that Jayam Raja may direct the Tamil remake of Lage Raho.
So with Raja at the helm, there is intense speculation that Jayam Ravi may get to play the hero.

Raja has successfully directed his brother Ravi in remakes like Jayam and Unakkum Enakkum

Vishal’s Screenplay Entertainments Sivapathikaaram has been given a ‘U’ certificate with some minor dialogue cuts.

The film directed by Karu Palaniappan is carrying very good reports and is now all set to release on Nov 24. The overseas prints of the film will be dispatched tomorrow. The number of Sivapathikaaram prints is likely to touch a record 150!

Vishal who is currently shooting for Hari’s film in Theni came down to Chennai on 18th, just to see the first copy of the film.

The latest heart-throb of Kollywood, Vishal, is now shooting for Thamirapani at Thirunelveli.

Even as he was shooting for a song sequence, Vishal took his time off to speak to media persons.

The actor, happy at scoring a hat-trick, said, "The stories are the real heroes. Actors are just a part of it.

Expressing his delight at being part of Director Hari’s film, Vishal said, "Thamiraparani is a racy entertainer and I am trying comedy for the first time. The whole crew is excited at the way the movie has been shaping up.

Meanwhile, Vishal has signed a movie for AVM Balasubramanian and the film would be directed by Dharani.

Though tight-lipped on the project, Vishal says, "My priority is to do justice to my films. After Sivapathikaram, Thamiraparani would hit the screens. Then I play a cop in Sathyam to be directed by a debutant.

Equally soaring is his career in Telugu following the good run of Telugu versions of Sanda Kozhi and Thimiru.

Vishal is also planning to do a direct movie in Telugu.

Our `Chiyaan` Vikram who has been keeping a low profile, has finally decided to do a film with director Susi Ganesan for producer Kalaipuli.S.Thanu. The film will start rolling from December end.

Both Vikram and director Susi Ganesan are refusing to comment on this new development. Remember for the last six months Vikram had been going through a lot of scripts. He almost agreed to do Myskkin’s Nandalala (now being done by Ravi Krishna) but backed out as the character lacked commercial cinema’s masala.

Later, a lot of new director’s scripts were also scanned but none of them excited him. Suddenly out of the blue, Vikram read Susi Ganesan’s script and is said to be impressed. Susi’s scripts are always different and have commercial potential. And with Tiruttu Payale he has proved that he can churn out a hit.

The rest of the star cast and technicians are being worked out. Still there is a long way to go before the Vikram-Susi combination becomes a reality, as there is many a slip between the cup and the lip!
